Surge Browser is now available for Mac!
Surge is a world-class browser built on the same code base as Chrome, Edge, and Brave to name a few. So, you’ll feel right at home and you’ll be secure, while you capitalize on your clicks for the first time ever (our belief on this).

As indicated above, User Cooperative pays out in dividends all its profits to user-members in proportion to their clicks.
On Surge, a click is a unique URL navigation that Surge History (surge://history) records, while a user is signed in to Surge, and you can access the number of clicks you have at any time. We refer to this number as "Lifetime clicks recorded," as shown below.

Getting started on Surge is a piece of cake and it’s free. Just download and open Surge, and follow the in-browser prompts to register as a User Cooperative user (this makes you a user-member), sign in, and import data from your previous browser. All it takes is a few clicks.
The data you can import includes autofill form data, bookmarks, extensions, passwords, payment methods, profile image, search engines, and, my personal favorite, browsing history.
By importing browsing history, you can import thousands of clicks from your previous browser that go toward your User Cooperative dividends. You not only get to capitalize on your clicks on Surge Browser, but on all the clicks your previous browser stored in its history. That’s a “killer” feature.
Here's what I imported from Chrome, my previous browser, when I set up Surge:

The only downside to Surge is that it’s only available for Mac, but we’re going to remedy that, starting with a Windows version. I’ll report back on a Windows launch date soon.
In the meantime, I’ll be updating our website to make Surge more center-stage and ensuring that Surge for Mac continues to be the best browser in the world.
So, make sure you update when Surge tells you that there's a new version available!
