User Co-op is the people's tech startup.
User Co-op's business plan is to (1) use this website to build a membership community and raise startup money from members through voluntary contributions, (2) deploy free members-only tech services, starting with a web browser and a search engine, and (3) deploy a targeted ads service to achieve financial independence and pay for the ongoing deployment of world-class technology.

Solution
We (the people) don’t get a fair deal for our data.
We go into the tech business for ourselves.
Business Plan
Build a membership, raise money from members, become a world-class tech company.
We become members of User Co-op, a member-owned cooperative tech company, while User Co-op's staff executes the Business Plan below. Membership is free and open to any natural person, and each member gets a vote in corporate governance and profits in proportion to their use of User Co-op's tech services.

The data we stream through our tech use is the economic foundation of consumer internet technology companies, and it exposes us to risks that we can’t practically ascertain, quantify, or mitigate. That means we have a fair-market right to wholly own and control the tech companies we use. But, ownership of these companies is already spoken for.
